Fernlea Cottage Bed & Breakfast is a B&B set in the Cheshire
countryside, just 4 miles south of Chester (7 miles from Chester city
centre).
There is a spacious and attractive garden, which guests are welcome to use. The guest bedrooms look out onto the gardens and across the fields. Guests have the use of a lounge, with French windows giving wonderful views of the Peckforton Hills and the surrounding countryside.
Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor. It's a traditional full English breakfast, and everything is freshly cooked for you.
A patio directly outside the lounge makes a relaxing place to enjoy the afternoon sun, after a day spent exploring Cheshire. There is a good selection of guides and maps in the lounge for guests to use and borrow.
The private lounge is heated by a wood-burning stove which provides space heating as well as hot water. There are numerous bird-boxes around the property to help the wild bird population, including a barn-owl box which has already been home to one family of barn owls!
