The Inn on the Green dates back to the 15th Century and is set in the
heart of the beautiful Surrey Hills in Ockley, which is an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ockley is only 8 miles from Dorking and 10
miles from Horsham in Surrey.
The Inn combines "olde worlde" charm with a contemporary outlook and the enthusiastic staff are a mine of knowledge about the local area, including the ghost stories associated with the pub! All our bedrooms are en suite (with a bath and/or a shower) and contain a TV and tea & coffee-making facilities. Free wireless connection in Bar as it will not always reach the rooms.
A generous full English breakfast (or continental option) is included in the price and special requests can be catered for with advance notice.
The Inn is located in a prime spot for exploring the local area, close by is the Dorking Golf Club, a stone's throw to fishing lakes, less than 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport, less than 20 minutes to the towns of Dorking and Horsham and less than 40 minutes to the seaside town of Worthing! The big smoke - London, is about an hour away on the train.
