The Cross Keys Hotel is a privately owned and run characterful, small hotel, set in the heart of the picturesque and historic town of New Galloway, at the top of Loch Ken and on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park.

The Cross Keys Hotel has six double bedrooms, three twin rooms and one triple room. All the bedrooms at the Cross Keys Hotel are en-suite and have TVs, DVD players, radios and hospitality trays. Hairdryers, iron and board, bathrobes and toiletries are available at the Hotel.

At the Cross Keys Hotel they feature Scottish produce wherever possible and are fortunate to be situated within an area that has such an abundance of locally produced food. Fish and shell fish straight from the harbours on the Solway Coast, venison from the hills around and feathered game from the local estates. Local lamb, Aberdeen Angus Beef, farmhouse cheeses, locally smoked salmon and meats and freshly harvested fruit and vegetables are all available to the chef.

The area around the New Galloway and the Cross Keys Hotel is known as The Glenkens which is a unique area of natural beauty with endless activities, things to see & do and a must for anyone exploring the Dumfries and Galloway region of south west Scotland.

The Glenkens is an oasis of natural beauty and activities which provide many things to see and do. It is an ideal base for a holiday in Scotland whether activity based or just simply to relax and enjoy the majestic beauty of this diverse area.
