As well as walking and cycling there are a range of other activities available near the guest house including fishing, golf, horse riding, canoeing, wind surfing and sailing. Hadrian's Wall can be easily reached from the guest house and is the perfect place to go for a day trip. For those interested in history there is the Carlisle Cathedral which has beautiful fourteenth century stained glass windows.
