A short distance from Pitlochry, set in hundreds of acres of magnificent parkland, stands Blair Castle, the home of the Dukes of Atholl and, as a result of the extensive planting done by the early Dukes, this part of Perthshire is known, for very good reason, as Big Tree Country!
