Moelwyn Hotel & Restaurant was once a pair of Victorian townhouses in Criccieth, Gwynedd. These converted town houses now offer beautifully appointed hotel accommodation along with a stylish and informal restaurant that is well known for its fine cuisine.
Our 6 hotel rooms have been individually furnished and tastefully decorated so guests have a relaxing place to return to at the end of a busy day. Many of our rooms have wonderful views and they all have their own en suite facilities, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi internet access. We have hotel rooms to suit all guests so whether you are in the area on business, as a couple, family or on a romantic weekend away, we have something for you.
Breakfast is served in our restaurant and we aim to use only the highest quality local ingredients to ensure that guests have something tasty to set them up for the day. Dinner is available in the restaurant and all of our food is fresh and cooked to order and our a la carte menu is small and supplemented by daily changing dishes which allow us to use the best local fish and seasonal produce available.
Situated in the beautiful coastal resort of Criccieth, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Moelwyn is but a stone’s throw from the sea and enjoys some of the finest uninterrupted coastal and mountain views on the North Wales Coast. Ideally placed for hill and coastal walking, we are also surrounded by heritage and castle sites and are only a few miles from the popular Italianate village of Portmeirion.
