The Haven offers comfortable guest accommodation located in the town of Rothbury near the town of Morpeth in Northumberland. Nestling in its own grounds on the hillside looking south over the town The Haven is a splendid Edwardian detached stone-built house.
We provide very comfortable accommodation, fresh home cooked meals and a friendly tranquil setting for business and pleasure. We have 24 hens wandering around the grounds, and of course, providing us with scrumptious fresh organic eggs for your breakfast.
All rooms are generously sized and fitted to a high standard. Each room has an en suite bathroom, TV, some with DVDs, hairdryer, clock radio and a very generous hospitality tray with local products. A comfortable lounge is available to guests at all times; guests are free to enjoy the terraced gardens overlooking the village.
There is a range of food available during breakfast including cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade muesli, traditional cooked breakfast, smoked haddock, smoked salmon, croissants, cheese, ham and much more. To see the full menu please visit our website.
Northumberland National Park can be easily reached from the guest accommodation and covers 400 square miles of wild Northumbrian countryside, the perfect place for walking, bird watching, cycling, or simply sitting in the car and enjoying the panoramic views. Guests can also visit Northumberland's miles upon miles of golden sandy beaches with the odd rocky one too! If the weather is nice then a day on the coast is a must; it's roughly a thirty minute drive but it is well worth it.
