The Red House B&B is a family run bed and breakfast overlooking Exe estuary in the village of Starcross near Exmouth in Devon.
Our guest rooms are bright with heavenly sea views. The en suites are large with walk in shower. Guests are given a key to come and go as they please (it is a good idea to let us know if you are going to be very late though). At this accommodation we try to use environmentally friendly cleaners as possible.
Meals can either be full English or continental which are served in the lounge from 7.30am to 9.00pm weekdays and 9.30pm at weekends. We cater for vegans and vegetarians and try to use as much organic food as possible.
Parking is sometimes possible on the main road or alternatively The Atmospheric Pub situated beside The Red House B&B will allow you to use their car park if you use the pub. There is another car park a bit further away along The Strand.
This B&B accommodation is ideally situated close to the train and bus station. For walkers we are 30 minutes away from Dartmoor National Park. Staying more locally there is Powderham Castle gardens and deer park. Rainy weather try Cofton Spa 3 minutes away or The Golf and Country club spa allowing you to swim in a heated outdoor pool with indoor Jacuzzi and sauna.
Crofton Spa award winning holiday park offers a 'dip and dine' package where you can use the indoor swimming pool, sauna and stream room then enjoy food and drink. In Exeter there is also an open air pool.
