No. 21 York Bed & Breakfast (B&B) Guest House Accommodation offers a choice of nine clean & comfortable rooms, a warm and homely welcome as well as a great Yorkshire breakfast - all within a stone’s throw of York city centre.
Built circa 1890 the B&B is a Victorian terrace that has a history of offering accommodation and breakfast to guests since 1966, we will continue in this tradition of offering homely hospitality in some of the finest bed and breakfast accommodation in York. Recently acquired & refurbished, part of our ethos is that we support our local partners sourcing all of our produce & services – wherever possible – from within a 20 mile radius of York which includes all of the trades and materials used in the refurbishment.
We offer a fully non-smoking property with en suite shower room accommodation in all but one of our rooms – this has a private shower room available – LED Smart TV's with Freeview, alarm clock radios with docking station, complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the property, tea & coffee facilities with homemade biscuits & Taylor's of York teas & coffees, Harrogate Spa mineral waters, hair dryers, irons & boards and free off-road parking to the rear of the building. A lock-up bike shed is also available for guests travelling by – or wishing to bring - your bike.
Breakfast is sourced locally with bacon, eggs, sausages & black budding all coming from The Farmers Cart just outside of York. Jams & marmalades are from Bracken Hill Farm at Elvington, the breads are homemade & with flour from the Windmill in Acomb, as are the pancakes. Fruits, vegetables & fruit juices are sourced from Millies on Bishopthorpe Road in York. As with the rooms our teas & coffees are supplied by Taylor's of Harrogate.
