Smokey Cot Bed and Breakfast is a large, modern detached house situated
in a rural setting yet only 8 miles from Cardiff and 5 minutes from junction 34
of the M4.
At the guest house guests are offered a cooked breakfast using local
produce. There is a separate guest lounge for guest to enjoy.
The village of Groesfaen sits in rolling countryside and is full of
charm and characture, the village was built to provide workers for Groesfaen
Farm and the old collery which closed in 1968, many of the mine workers
cottages have been restored and still survive today.
Smokey Cot Bed and Breakfast is an excellent base for a golfing break
with 10 courses within a 20 minute drive, including the well establish Cardiff
and Caerphilly Clubs. Convenient for visiting the many attractions that South
Wales has to offer.
