cottage and stables converted into our traditional country guest house,
surrounded by a paved courtyard and a lovely garden with summer house.
The cottage interior is decorated to a very
high standard giving you a typical country atmosphere with its beamed ceilings
and classic design. Perfect surroundings in which to eat your breakfast.
Just a 10 minute drive from the market town
of Driffield the capital of the Wolds and right in the middle of David Hockney
country. The world famous artist spent many years putting our amazing scenary
onto canvas. Using the guest house as your base you can follow the Hockney
Trail and see the locations that the artist used.
Blacksmiths Cottage is the ideal base from
which to venture out and explore the surrounding area.
Enjoy the seaside towns of Bridlington,
Scarborough and Filey. Visit Stately Homes or explore the North Yorkshire Moors
and Wolds Way.
