B & B situated in Ashurst, the Gateway to the New Forest.
Ashurst
is the ideal location for walking, cycling and wildlife. Ashurst (The New Forest)
station is only 10 minute walk away and is on the mainline from London Waterloo
to Bournemouth/Weymouth. A regular bus service is also available between
Southampton and Lymington. During the summer months, the New Forest Tour bus
runs two separate routes visiting the most popular places and attractions in
the forest. Both services pass through Ashurst.
Ashurst
has 3 pubs, a bistro, an Indian restaurant and various takeaways all within
walking distance of The Willows. An information folder in each room gives
details of menus and discounts are available at all 3 pubs ranging from 10% to
25%. During the summer period, the Happy Cheese pub provides cycle hire.
