Hillcroft
is a traditional croft house (built circa 1920) which has been extended and modernised
providing comfortable guest accommodation in 3 en suite rooms.
The
property, which was bought by Robin and Janet in September 2007, has been
totally refurbished, in particular the bedrooms and en suites, to provide
comfortable guest accommodation.
Hillcroft
is ideally situated for exploring the north of the island. The Old Man of Storr
and the Quirang are a short drive away, there is a fine pottery at Edinbane (3
miles). 8 miles north is Dunvegan castle and if you continue driving north
through Dunvegan you come to the coral beaches. There are several pubs and
eating places in the vicinity, serving a wide range of locally sourced food.
We
also have drying facilities for wet gear and secure covered parking for motor
bikes, boats etc.
There
are many good pubs and Restaurants close by and if you enjoy Golf, both Chart
Hills and Weald of Kent golf courses are just 4 miles away.
