Welcome to The Kings Arms, Bar, Hotel & Restaurant situated in the
centre of the Cotswold market town of Stow-on-the-Wold.
We offer a warm welcome with traditional English food, old ales and
wines available both in the ground floor pub and restaurant, whilst our cosy
bed and breakfast bedrooms and cottage rooms offer the perfect place to base
yourself when exploring the beautiful countryside and local Cotswold
attractions.
This one time coaching inn earned its place in history by providing
lodgings for Charles 1st in 1645. Today everyone is treated like royalty.
The ‘cottage rooms’ are on two levels with a sitting area downstairs to
relax and watch TV or make a hot drink, all with modern en-suite bathrooms also
on the ground floor and the bedrooms upstairs.
The pub which is at the front of the building has many original
traditional features, where a roaring fire and warm smile awaits. Our full
menu, daily specials and sandwich menu (12 noon – 6pm) are served daily in a
relaxed and informal atmosphere that allows drinkers and diners to sit side by
side, swapping tales with the local characters over a pint of real ale, glass
of wine from our wide range or one of our seasonal cocktails.
