Earth is a delightful Grade 2 Listed Country House dating to about 1750. The
house is just one minute’s walk from the village pub which serves excellent
food.
Guests
remark on the quality of our breakfast which is served in a large elegant
dining room. On the side table a variety of cereals including a local organic
range is always available; the produce of the garden can be seen with enticing
bowls of fruit, berries and West Country yoghurt.
The
local area is just outstanding. Rolling green countryside, fabulous Eggardon
Hill, lofty Golden Cap, the Jurassic Coast, Hardy country, Sherborne Abbey,
Chesil Beach, the Cerne Abbas Giant – take your pick, West Dorset has it all.
