Carol and Phil welcome you to their small family run guest house situated to the north of York city centre and just a few minutes walk from the many wonderful historic sites and shops that can be found there.

We aim to provide the best possible stay in York at an attractive price offering a full traditional English breakfast, which is cooked to your order. Vegetarian and most other diets can be catered for; all we ask is for a little notice.

All rooms are en-suite, decorated to a high standard and double glazed. They also include tea and coffee making facilities, thermostatically controlled central heating, colour televisions, clock/radio alarms, hairdryers, iron and ironing board. You also have your own keys to come and go as you please.

Mowbray House is situated just north of the historic city of York in North Yorkshire, England. We are only 10 minutes walk from York Minster and the historic walled City centre. We are also within easy access to the ring road.
